Natron water glass
Sodium water glass is used for waterproofing porous stone-like surfaces.
Pour or spread the liquid sodium water glass over or into the porous area to be treated, such as cracked glaze layers.
After treatment, the sodium water glass seals off the pores or cracks. This protective layer needs to be renewed after some time.
Sodium water glass can also be used as an adhesive component for paint layers and adhesives.
Sodium water glass is water-repellent, narrows pores of stone-like material, is solvent-free, and easily dilutable with water.
The first layer should be applied thinly. Sodium water glass should be diluted with water at a maximum ratio of 1:1. The final layer may be thicker and, if necessary, applied undiluted.
